In 2019, Gabrielle earned her masters degree in Healthcare Management, after growing an interest ing working with adults and children with Intellectual & Developmental disabilities. After 5 yrs in the Mental health field, she began branching off to showing extreme passion for being a resource in Black and Brown communities, and becoming more financially acute. As she began to ponder on why these two areas were so important to her, she realized that both communities share commonalities. Both have undergone circumstances that play a major role in their acceptance in society.
El-Mental Services is here to provide resources, education and solutions to help underserved communities excel in the world.
El-Mental Services was founded in 2021 based on a need that was noticed in low income communities. During COVID, families were forced to say goodbye to loved ones but they were not financially prepared for the expenses that came with it. Many families were faced with the burden of posting 'GoFund Me', asking neighbors for money and depleting their savings, in order to place loved ones away comfortably. The need to educate families on the importance of life insurance and wealth building savings accounts is more important now than ever before.
We are here as a resource and tool to people that were not properly educated on the rules to help their money work for them.
